A new treatment for a male sexual dysfunction drug that is often touted as Viagra and Viagra’s “little blue pill” has been approved in the U. S. by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in late May.

“It’s not just about treating the symptoms of erectile dysfunction but treating the underlying cause of the problem,” Dr. John Lechleiter, a urology specialist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, told The Associated Press. “We’re going to work with the physicians who are there to find the best treatment.”

The drug is named Vibramycin (marketed under the brand name Revatio), which has been available generically since 1967, and Viagra (brand name Sildenafil), a drug introduced by Pfizer Inc. to treat men with erectile dysfunction.

Vibramycin is not approved for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, but its generic form, sildenafil, is. Both the pills and Revatio are used to treat a variety of sexual disorders, including impotence, erectile dysfunction in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension. There is also the drug’s brand name, Sildenafil, and the drug’s generic, sildenafil citrate.

The FDA approved the drug in February 2010, and it has been on the market since 2017. Viagra and Revatio have both been on the market in the U. since 2007.

According to the company, it’s the first drug approved for the treatment of impotence. In June 2010, the agency approved Viagra for use in patients 18 years of age or older.

In a statement to The Associated Press, Pfizer said: “This is a treatment that is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension, an important condition for men with this condition.”

The drug is not available in the U. under the brand name Revatio.

It has the same generic as other PDE5 inhibitors, which is why it’s considered the best-known PDE5 inhibitor.

The most common side effects of the drugs include facial flushing, nausea, headaches, and headaches. Less common but serious side effects include vision changes, hearing loss and an erection that lasts more than four hours. In some cases, patients may also experience muscle pain, numbness or tingling in the arms, hands and feet.

Dr. Lechleiter said that most of these side effects are temporary and go away on their own. Other side effects, however, may also occur, which include the following: headaches, changes in sleep patterns, mood changes, fatigue and changes in blood pressure.

“It’s not something we want to deal with right away,” Lechleiter said. “We’re trying to figure out how to fix the problem and to work with the physicians that are there to help us find the best treatment.
